Once one of our “Rising Stars” as a 12-year-old prodigy in 2014, Luka returns as an international star to perform Elgar’s Cello Concerto. Paired with Brahms’ monumental Symphony No. 1 and the world premiere of a work commissioned in honour of The Civic’s 50th anniversary by Alberta composer John Estacio, this performance will set a brilliant tone for a landmark season. |
